Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-06-21

This policy covers the Cubesoft Ltd. website (cubesoft.uk) and the mobile apps we publish, including Honeycomb. We keep it short because we try to collect as little data as possible.

This website

cubesoft.uk is a static marketing site hosted on Cloudflare Workers. We don't use analytics, cookies, or tracking on this site. Cloudflare may process standard request metadata (IP address, user agent, timestamp) to serve the page and protect against abuse — see Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Honeycomb (mobile app)

Honeycomb is a recipe app for iOS and Android. The data practices below describe everything the app collects and how we use it.

Account information

To create an account you provide an email address, a password, and a display name. Passwords are hashed; we never see the plain text. We use this information to authenticate you and to identify your content (recipes, cook list, shared homes) across devices.

Content you create

Recipes you save or generate, photos you attach to recipes, your cook list, saved/bookmarked recipes, and ratings or reviews you write are stored on our servers so they sync across your devices and (where you choose) with other members of a shared home.

AI recipe generation

When you ask Honeycomb to generate a recipe — for example from a text prompt or a photo of a dish or ingredients — the input is sent to a third-party large language model provider via our gateway so the model can produce a recipe. We log the request, the model used, and basic usage metrics (tokens, cost, errors) so we can monitor reliability and cost. We do not use your prompts or photos to train models, and we instruct providers not to retain your inputs for training.

Session and technical data

When you sign in, we store a session record that includes your IP address and user agent string. This is used to keep you signed in, to let you sign out of other devices, and to detect abuse.

Device permissions

Honeycomb does not request location, microphone, contacts, or access to other apps.

What we do not collect

Where data is stored

Account and recipe data, including images, is stored on servers in the European region. AI prompts are processed by third-party model providers, which may process data in other regions.

Sharing

We don't sell personal data and we don't share it with third parties for their own marketing. We share data only with the infrastructure providers we rely on to run the service (hosting, database, and image storage) and the model provider that powers AI recipe generation.

Your rights

If you're in the UK or EU, you have rights under the UK GDPR and EU GDPR to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you. To exercise these rights, or for any privacy question, email privacy@cubesoft.uk.

To delete your Honeycomb account and associated data, see our account deletion page.

Children

Honeycomb is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has created an account, email privacy@cubesoft.uk and we will delete it.

Changes

If we update this policy, we'll change the date at the top of this page. Material changes will also be announced on this site.
